ABS Deal Lifecycle

For institutional investors that may not have a dedicated team or for additional or deal-specific support, complete Consumer ABS Deal Lifecycle Services:

  • Business Needs Identification / Business Interface / Project Management: From the point where an offering memorandum is available and NDA’s have been signed, working with the deal team to identify the target objectives, what data is available and working with the investor and seller to obtain the right information, and how to reach those goals.
  • Model Design: Determining the ideal framework and components to build models, link models to implementations, link the appropriate data to both the model fitting process and the implementations, and link implementations to forecasts and results.
  • Data Engineering: Taking the supplied information and constructing the complex data structures for the model design.
  • Modelling: The traditional data science role of fitting the component models.
  • Implementation: Integrating modelling results, validating, and preparing forecasts and analytic results.
  • Results Delivery, Presentation, Model Defense, and Incorporation into the investor’s valuation and pricing/bidding process.

Model Based Assumptions for Incorporation into Bloomberg or Intex Valuation Tools

For investors using Bloomberg or Intex bond valuation models:

  • WDataSci can either build custom asset (loan) level models on the investor’s behalf or provide forecasts based on asset classes which WDataSci already has model libraries built (auto loans are under construction).
  • WDataSci can assist or provide the asset, group, or deal level input files required for Bloomberg or Intex valuations.
