2019-06-06 WDS-JniPMML-XLL was created with a release of version 0.5.0 on the WDataSci github site. The goal of this Excel AddIn is to provide dynamic model evaluators as functions within Excel. As a starting point, for either use or for comparison, the addin enables PMML evaluation via the ubiquitous de facto jpmml evaluator. Other model specifications, such as WDS when published, will be added in later versions. The project includes an executable jar wrapping jpmml which is called in memory by a C# addin via jni in addition to VB and VBA supporting functions.

2019-07-19 WDS-ModelSpec was created on the WDataSci github site. This is the location for development and release of the WDS model specification. Supporting libraries will be migrated to this location.

2019-10-25 Christian Wypasek gave a presentation as part of the colloquium series for Sciences Appalachian State University’s Department of Mathematical Sciences entitled “Going from Modeling to Meta-Modeling” (slides).
